Software Engineer

Seattle, WA

The Software Engineer will join a team to help design, code and test new software applications specific to search marketing. This position reports to the CTO.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science a plus; and/or
  • Three to five years of industry experience using the skills described below

Recommended Skills:

  • Fluency in Java
  • Database experience with practical experience in SQL and JDBC
  • Experience with CVS, Tomcat and ANT
  • Practical work experience with XML
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Knowledge of the search marketing industry
  • Strong work ethic and good judgment

Duties:

  • Help design and build Java-based applications that collect and refine website data
  • Help design and build databases, table structures and optimize data
  • Maintain and improve existing applications designed to collect and refine website data
    • .
  • Work with partner APIs and design applications that communicate with these API via XML
